# Usage

OrcaTools is primarily written to be used through its [command line interface](#cli_guide) included in the installation of the `orto` package.

Due to its rich documentation and modular design, `orto` can also be used in users' own code - see [scripting](#guide_scripting) and [modules](#modules).
